The last few days have been difficult for us all as we have witnessed the ravages of Hurricane Harvey. In this time of need, we extend our prayers to those families who are dealing with the aftermath of this hurricane. Many families of the Fifth Ward Enrichment Program (FWEP) have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The good news is those families we have been able to contact are safe, but their homes have been damaged and they are in need of food.
For the past two days, Connie Whipple and her family has led the effort to purchase and deliver food to those families who are in immediate need. However, there is an overwhelming need for not only food, but also for male underwear and hygiene items. A special link, which follows below, can be accessed for donating relief funds for our boys and their families. Please inform others of this link and assure them that 100% of their tax-deductible donations will go to the support of FWEP families.
The Fifth Ward Enrichment Program is a 501(c) (3) charity.
Thank you for your support and I wish you and your family the very best in the tough days ahead.
